66. Is there any relationship between Vastu and Astrology?
There is a close relationship between Vastu and Astrology. In astrology, the fourth house has been attributed to immovable property, amongst other things. If the lord of the fourth house, the planets in the fourth house, the aspects to the fourth house, etc. are all good, then the person will enjoy property. Otherwise, the results will be negative. There are also many special conditions or ‘yogas’ such as Ayatna Griha Prapti Yoga, Vichitra Prakara Soudha Yoga, etc. which destine a person to different conditions of property holding. Further, one has also to see the planetary configurations at a given point of time, in conjunction with one’s nakshatra in order to fix a muhurta or an auspicious time for starting various stages of construction work as well as the griha pravesh. On the same way if the south or west is weak at house, then the inmate may suffers with property problems.
67. What is the role of geographic directions in designing buildings?
Geographic directions such as North, South, East and West are very important in Vastu. In fact, all buildings are supposed to exactly face each of these cardinal directions and not at an angle. It may called as Vidisha or Dikmood Gruham.
68. Where should the main entrance of the building be located?
The house, in the form of a square or a rectangle, is superimposed with a grid of nine by nine divisions. The division in which the main entrance can be located can be determined based on the north, south, east or west directions. The best place to fix the door is at rich vastu points for any direction.
69. While constructing a building if there is a delay in construction where can we keep the balance bricks, sand, Iron bars and blue metals until we start the construction again?
If there is delay in constructing a building we can keep the balance bricks, blue-metal, sand and rods on the terrace of the house or at the ground floor of the house or at a vacant place in south, south-west or west directions. If we use these building materials, the construction will be completed soon. But if we keep these things in the north, northeast, east or southeast or northwest parts or a building the construction will be delayed. The family members MAY have to face diseases, unnecessary quarrels, short of money and accidents.
70. Will the person living in a rented house be able to construct an own house?
If a person lives in a vaastu house he will be able to construct his own house in future. Some people may get job in the foreign countries. Government jobs and new business may approach him. Delay in marriages will be removed and marriage will be performed. The good vaastu of the rented house is responsible for these good effects.
