Vastu in Michigan (MI):

Michigan, a beautiful state in the USA.

We have many clients in Detroit. A place where the cold waves and ice fall in winter are common. Exciting for newcomers, tired to the locals.

USA is a land of development. This is one part of the scene, the other part is extremely painful.

When we observe the factories which are not functioning and many buildings were vacant, which gives us pains. This is the situation in the years 2014 and 2015 as per information received from different sources.

The present position may vary. God Bless Michigan and the USA. We are looking for everybody's happiness and peace here. Be safe in your life.

Michigan is very near to Canada.

People are soft and respectable.

Somewhere if we see the parts of Michigan, there may not be boundaries with Canada, particularly in the water.

The water channel has been divided into two portions, one is USA and another part is Canada.

Almost all homes had a basement in Michigan state. When there is a basement, one should be careful while going to buy East facing homes and North facing homes.

Check, whether there is flood water channels were adjacent to your interested home to buy. Is so in which direction those floodwater channels were passing through.

There are many categories on this floor water channels, some are huge and some are medium and some are very small. Small water channels are different and the bigger one is different.

The best idea is to approach one of the best expert vastu consultants, he can guide you the rest.

Is the land has iron-bound or mountainous then check where are they, in which direction?

Please note that the mountainous land slopes towards the West or South may not be auspicious for happy living. Need to thoroughly check, here one vastu pandit can definitely help.

Please observe about the home terrace straight sloppy structure, if so in which direction that sloppy provided. Is East or North then no problem, otherwise need to check that property with one of the best vastu consultants. He will check properly and guide further.

Don't approach charlatans in society. Their payments will be always cheap, once residents approach them, thereafter they will show what they are.

Don't spoil life by saving the minimum vastu consultancy service charges. Contact only vastu experts, they will guide properly.

House Construction Styles in Michigan State:

Michigan is situated in the midwestern region of the United States and is not only geographically large but is also dense in population.

It is governed by the republic with executive, judicial and legislative branches.

Michigan primarily is a hotspot for its automobile industry but fields of manufacturing, forestry, agriculture, services, and high-tech industry have started to boom.

It gets its name from the Ojibwe word meaning large water which stands true because the state is bordered by the Great Lakes.

Tourism in Michigan is busy as it draws vacationers, hunters, and nature lovers to its environment which is spread with forests, lakes, and coastlines.

The urban areas are known for their museums, casinos, and golf courses too.

If you’re considering getting a house in this evolving state, here are the common housing styles to choose from:

1. Single-family homes

Single-family homes, also sometimes known as bungalows, are properties most in-demand in coming times.

These houses are detached residential spaces either of one or 1½ stories.

The basic design usually has a low pitch roof and an open floor plan.

Single-family homes are quaint and compact which makes them easily accessible and functional.

They also usually come with built-in facilities such as carpentry, fireplaces, and porch which add value.

The maintenance expenses for such a space is also low due to its open floor plan.

The cons of living in a single-family home are the lack of storage space of the rooms.

Since these are independent properties, residents do not enjoy recreational amenities and may have to go outside and spend to find a community.

These properties are fairly budget-friendly and thus make a good investment option for first time home buyers or those looking to accommodate growing families.

2. Multi-Family Homes

Multi-family homes are one or two-story properties which have more than one unit to live in.

These homes come in various architectural styles and a variety of floor plans which are customizable.

The benefit of multi-family homes is the spaciousness and flexibility of the residence which can have multiple uses.

They also offer a high ROI. However, some drawbacks of investing in the property is the maintenance costs and lack of privacy.

Investors or experienced homeowners looking to house a big family or rent out a unit can opt for such housing as these also have a good market value.

3. Townhomes

Townhouses are individual units, two-three storey high, often attached in the style of a rowhouse with a common wall between the units.

Urban townhouses are designed with a modern architectural style these days and come well-equipped with basic utilities and a spacious design.

Townhouses also have amenities such as playgrounds and parks, landscaped green spaces, and recreational facilities.

Additional pros are the separate entrance units which lend privacy to residents without compromising on the community, lower maintenance, and the fact that these townhouses are usually located in urban neighborhoods.

However, there may be hidden costs attached to the utilities as per HOA (Home Owners Association fees) and the limitation of customizing or building up your home.

Those looking to buy their first home but are on a tight budget and can't afford bungalows style homes can opt for townhouses

4. Apartments

Apartments are individual units in multi-story real estate property.

These units have an urban architectural style, are spacious, and are commonly located in newer areas of the city.

The proximity of the apartment to basic facilities, recreational hotspots, and farmers' markets is close which adds to the value of the property.

One of the other good things about apartments is the flexibility they offer and that the landlord is usually responsible for any maintenance or gardening needs which saves up on time and finances.

These houses can make a good option for young millennials looking to invest in as the future prospects from such a property are high too.

5. Condominiums/PUD Developments

These houses are characterized by ownership of a personal unit with shared common areas of the yard or other amenities which are managed by condominium associations or home builders.

These individual units can be in the style of apartment, townhomes, or bungalows with common ground and structure maintenance and lie in a gated setting.

The advantages of such properties are the convenience in terms of not having to maintain or invest in spaces of amenities but the cons also are the crowded neighborhood and the limitations and rules which may be imposed by the authorities of the residence.

Those looking to buy their own property but without the responsibility of maintaining a yard or other such features can look into investing in condos.

These properties also provide for good interest making it a fair investment deal.

6. Housing Cooperatives

Co-Ops or housing cooperatives are residential units on a common property that is owned by a legal entity who may also own more than one such property.

Co-op residents, unlike other real estates, do not own the specific unit of the building but enjoy the use of it and the attached benefits after paying designated fees, receiving a co-op share, and becoming a member.

The advantages of co-ops living are mainly the lower expenses as the owner absorbs those, a sense of strong community, and that there are no property taxes levied but residents are still entitled to all the tax deductions similar to other homeowners.

Disadvantages of living in a housing cooperative are the stringent rules imposed by owners and the financial scrutiny a potential buyer may undergo.

The dependency of shareholders on each other for the survival of the cooperative is also high.

Co-operative housing schemes are a great option for senior citizens for the support and community it provides or those for those on a tight budget due to the affordability.

Michigan is a US state located in the Northern part of the country, on the Great Lakes region. The state is known for its abundant water resources, lakes, automobile industries, and diverse landscape. Also, out of five Great Lakes, the state is bordered by four of them. The state has a population of over 10 million and is 10th most populous US state.

Human settlement in the region dates back to approx. 11,000 BCE. As the time passed, several other tribes from different region settled in the region. These people were basically hunters or knew basic farming. Some of the conflicts also occurred between the time to time.

At the time of the European arrival, the major tribes in the region were Algonquian peoples, Potawatomi, and Ottawa. These people were spread in their respective regions and were at peace. The largest of them was the “Algonquian peoples” that were in thousands of numbers and were spread in the regions of modern US and Canada.

French were the first Europeans to explore and settle in the region. Several settlements and trading posts were built to trade “fur”, especially with the Natives. French also built several forts to strengthen their presence and maintained the hold of the region until their defeat in the “Seven Years War”. Afterward, the region was annexed by the British. The region remained a British territory until the “American Revolutionary War”.

Again, during the “War of 1812”, the British re-occupied the region and made huge supply chains in the state. During this period, the region saw some of the bloodiest battles in its history e.g. “River Raisin Massacre”. Similarly, during the American “Civil War”, the state contributed much, as it sent almost forty regiments to participate in the War.

In addition to the four Great Lakes Michigan borders, it has approx. 11,000 inland lakes and ponds making it the state with largest freshwater reservoirs in the country.

The bordering states of Michigan include Ohio and Indiana towards the South, Wisconsin towards the West, while it shares water boundaries with the states of Illinois and Minnesota. It also borders Canadian province of Ontario towards its East.

The four great lakes that Michigan borders include Lake Erie, Lake Huron, Lake Michigan and Lake Superior. The upper peninsula of the state is densely forested. Other features include long shorelines, rivers, plateaus, and islands. In addition, most of the environmental and natural areas are protected by the government. There are 78 state parks with several other protected sites.

The economy of the state is diversified, but the state is famous for its automobile production as the US largest three automobile companies Ford, Fiat Chrysler and General Motors are situated in Michigan.

Major economic sectors include industrial outputs, aerospace technology, IT products, mining, agriculture, food processing and military hardware. There some of the leading research centers in the state and some of the top Universities. Also, there are 38 deep water ports in the state. We are tech professionals and working in USA. After a year long search we brought the house. After buying the house I started looking for consultant who can help me evaluating the house. I came across Subhavaastu website which has lot of information. I contacted Mr.Suresh and requested him to help with our house vastu. It has been an incredible delight working with him.. He is very detailed oriented person and never compromises with his work. I am typically not interested to deliver the reviews. But after working with Mr. Suresh I decided to share my experience. Mr. Suresh has great expertise in providing vastu consultation to USA property. He is always available through email and phone l to answer questions. I am writing this review hoping it will help other people like me who lives in abroad. Please take advise before buying the house. I highly recommend Mr. Suresh as he has great experience with structure of USA properties and also he provides genuine consultation. I really appreciate Mr. Suresh's help in evaluating our house - Padma - Boston - USA

"I contacted Sureshji to consult on our current home. He was spot on in identifying vastu dosha in regards to the problems we were having. He suggested remedies but we are still looking for a new house. Since then I have been in touch with him for finding a right home for us. He is very sincere and truly wishes better lives for everyone. He doesn’t compromise with quality and is always responsive to queries. He recommends solutions as per location as Vastu rules differ for each country. He is greatly contributing to the society with his knowledge of Vastu and dedication towards his work. Keep up the good work Sureshji and wish you success and happiness!" - Megha - Virginia - USA

I have consulted Suresh Garu during December 2014 during the process of buying a house in Texas, USA. I have occupied the house for one year now, and feel like dropping a review regarding my experience during the entire process. I am very much satisfied with the kind of service I received from him. He is very knowledgeable and I was often stunned by his detailed analysis during the course of my interaction with him. He was very much accessible over phone (perhaps more than 10 times for one house plan!) and the price is very much reasonable especially compared with the cost of the house. I noticed his burning desire to help me in making informed decisions on certain things. I have seen some people pretending to know this subject and misguiding those who come for help by saying only what we want to hear. SubhaVaastu is definitely not that one. Finally, I am strong believer of leaving certain things to experts in those subjects. I have been in US for more than 13 years and have seen people doing their own corrections (by reading website articles) trying to save few dollars. Please don’t do that. You would end up in causing more damage. I highly recommend you to engage SubhaVaastu in your next project - Satish - Dallas - TX - USA

Joke Of the Day

"Husband: Why are there 2 rupee coins coming out in the sambar today?
Wife: You've been saying for a week that you want a change in the cooking, a change!".

Vastu Tip of the Day

The main entrance is considered the "mouth of a body" where energy enters your home. According to Vastu, having a bright and welcoming entrance attracts good fortune, health, and prosperity. You can enhance this area by placing a beautiful nameplate, using bright lights, and incorporating green plants near the entrance. This not only makes the entrance more appealing but also supports the flow of positive energy into your home. The front door should be free from dust. If you notice any dust on it, please clean it right away. This entrance is like a welcoming door for Goddess Lakshmi. For More Daily Vastu Tips : Daily Vastu Tips
