Jharkhand is an Indian state located in the Eastern part of the country. The state was once part of Southern Bihar but carved out from it in 2000. The state is famous for its extensive forests, waterfalls, and wildlife.
Neighboring states of Jharkhand include Uttar Pradesh towards the Northwest, Bihar towards the North, West Bengal towards the East, Odisha towards the South and Chhattisgarh towards the West. The state is rich in natural resources aa nd number of minerals and resources can be found in the state.
More than 40% of the Indian national resources are found in Jharkhand but sad to say the state still faces financial and resources issues. In other words, the state faces a resource curse. Poverty, unemployment, homelessness, and availability of proper nutrients are one of the major issue faced by the state.
The history of the area is diverse. According to historians, the area was under the rule of different empires and kings. Most of the time, the area was under the active rule of tribal rulers, commonly known as “Munda Rajas”.
As the British influence in the region was increasing, in 1876 the area came under the reign of East India Company. Unlike other areas of India, the people of Jharkhand gave fear resistance to the foreign occupiers. As we learn history number of events including resistance, uprising and revolts can be found.
Although the British crushed every single uprising and revolution, the freedom loving people didn’t stop until the achieved their destiny. The resistance movement of the area also allied with Mahatma Gandhi during his call for civil disobedience. It was not until 1947 when the whole sub-continent got its independence and the area was finally free and independent.
One of the main issue faced by the state is Naxalite-Maoist insurgency. Naxalites are a group of far-left radical communists. The conflict started in 1967 when the group began its active operations throughout the state. Their hideouts are difficult to trace due to dense forests.
There are several events of clashes between the government and Naxalites. Also, the police and army launched several operations but till now, no complete result achieved. The main target of the group is government officials, government installments, police and often civilians.
The geography of the state features a number of hill ranges rivers, waterfalls, forest, and wildlife. Majority of the area of the state is covered by dense forests. The state is also famous for its wildlife especially elephants and tigers.
There is also a number of wildlife parks and reserves. It can also be a good spot for local and foreign tourists but due to improper facilities and insurgency, people don’t take a proper interest in visiting the area.
Jharkhand is one of the richest states in India in terms of natural resources and minerals. A number of minerals can be found for e.g. coal, copper, mica, bauxite, limestone, china clay, fire clay, graphite chromite, silver, etc.
Apart from all these the state failed to properly utilize the minerals and its income. The state facaes a resource curse. Poverty, illiteracy, and unemployment are common.
According to the 2011 census, Hinduism is the dominating religion of the state accounting for 67.8% of the total population followed by Islam 14.5% and Christianity 4.3%. Hindi is the official language of the state. Later, Urdu was also added as an additional official language. Hindi is spoken by 57.56% of the total population. Other languages include Urdu, Santali, Bengali, Mundari, and Ho.
Right decision and steps must be taken by the government to stop the state from devastation. If the curse isn’t controlled more and more people will suffer and the condition of the state will become worse.

We are tech professionals and working in USA. After a year long search we brought the house. After buying the house I started looking for consultant who can help me evaluating the house. I came across Subhavaastu website which has lot of information. I contacted Mr.Suresh and requested him to help with our house vastu. It has been a great pleasure working with him. He is very detailed oriented person and never compromises with his work. I am typically not interested to deliver the reviews. But after working with Mr. Suresh I decided to share my experience. Mr. Suresh has great expertise in providing vastu consultation to USA property. He is always available through email and phone l to answer questions. I am writing this review hoping it will help other people like me who lives in abroad. Please take advise before buying the house. I really appreciate Mr. Suresh's help in evaluating our house - Padma - Boston - USA
Hello Sir, My name is Bharathi. Me and my husband have been reading your articles closely. We really appreciate the effort put by you to share your knowledge about vastu and it’s effects - Bharathi - USA.
I have consulted Suresh Garu during December 2014 during the process of buying a house in Texas, USA. I have occupied the house for one year now, and feel like dropping a review regarding my experience during the entire process. I am very much satisfied with the kind of service I received from him. He is very knowledgeable and I was often stunned by his detailed analysis during the course of my interaction with him. He was very much accessible over phone (perhaps more than 10 times for one house plan!) and the price is very much reasonable especially compared with the cost of the house. I noticed his burning desire to help me in making informed decisions on certain things. I have seen some people pretending to know this subject and misguiding those who come for help by saying only what we want to hear. SubhaVaastu is definitely not that one. Finally, I am strong believer of leaving certain things to experts in those subjects. I have been in US for more than 13 years and have seen people doing their own corrections (by reading website articles) trying to save few dollars. Please don’t do that. You would end up in causing more damage. I highly recommend you to engage SubhaVaastu in your next project - Satish - Dallas - TX - USA

Joke Of the Day
A man was complaining to a railroad engineer.
What's the use of having a train schedule if the trains are always late.
The railroad engineer replied.
How would we know they were late, if we didn't have a schedule?
