120 Days Free Vastu consultation to Chennai Properties: As a humanitarian grounds we wished to provide Vastu consultation to Chennai properties. What happened in Chennai has been occurring since long at different places.

This is an unforgivable sin. We may or may not identify such evil doers. At least now govt should prevent such activities by denying permission. We all should introspect after this huge calamity.

Thousands of crores of rupees is the estimated loss. How will this loss be compensated and by whom? As per government, it will have to raise taxes which the people will have to suffer. This is in addition to their own monumental losses. In this mounting costs, let us all pause and reflect as to how much would the selfish perpetrators might have earned on the sly. Maybe a few crores.

Is not the government property indeed peoples and government is the trustee of the same? Any compensation that the government pays to individuals has to come from the people’s pocket only. And this by way of additional taxes. Thus look at it either way.

It is the people who have suffered and continue to do so. No doubt we have to identify and punish those perpetrators in the same breathe we should plant more and more trees on a war footing – for these are indeed friends of mankind.

For years we did not care deforestation and destroyed the forest cover. Atleast now we should recognize this. Man should not cause self destruction. We should put aside our indifference and should educate each and every one regarding the need for reforestation. As a first step we should reduce our consumption of electricity.

The suffering of Chennai residents is not an ordinary event. And hopefully may not be repeated again and Government must take all steps in this regard.

Thanks to all the Brothers and Sisters of Sai family who prayed for the well-being of the people of Chennai during this disastrous flooding. Many are marooned due to water logging in all arterial roads. Further with no electricity, potable water and supply of food, the ground situation is calamitous. Chennai remains cut off as road, rail and air traffic crippled.

Though Chennai the deluge has stopped for the last 8 hours, the ordeal is far from over as the Indian Meteorological Department forecasts a few more spells of moderate to heavy rains in the days to come.

The immediate instructions to our Sai devotees in Chennai who are dwelling in high raised buildings and safer areas was to engage in Narayan Seva to all the stranded victims nearby. All Sai centers and every family took this task to their heart and was serving food wherever possible. Reports indicate that every Sai centers feeding nearly 200 families in their vicinity.

As expected, there has been a rush of extended hands from empathetic devotees of adjacent districts, neighboring states and from other countries. We are thankful for their sympathy, prayers, and willingness to participate the relief works.

At this juncture, we request Sai centers to collect the following materials and have them in safe custody, ready to move to Chennai at short notice, when the transportation becomes possible.

The list of items required are-

1. Blankets and bed sheets
2. Mats - Plastic/fiber
3. Cooking oil
4. Rice
5. Dhal
6. Milk Powder
7. Biscuits
8. Matches
9. Candles
10. Medicines ( antibiotics and anti-diarrheal)
11. Other edible items
12. Clothes for young children, Dhothis for gents and Sarees for Mahilas (Preferably new)

Instructions for District Presidents:

We request all the district presidents to collect these materials at your respective district headquarters. You may consult District Presidents of neighboring district and hire a lorry service to transport them to Sundaram, Chennai only after such instructions are provided, which will be given when the flooded water recedes and transportation lines are restored.
